EFFI-Lase V2 is a structured LED lighting from EFFILUX. It is designed for 3D reconstruction, stereovision, and alignment applications. It projects powerful and very fine patterns such as: line, cross, clouds of points, etc. In comparison to its predecessor EFFI-Lase, it offers up to 15 times more power and the possibility for the customer to easily interchange masks.
EFFI-Lase V2 is available in 2 versions, each offering different electronic and mechanical characteristics to suit different application needs: Passive dissipation version: EFFI-Lase-PSV & Compact version: EFFI-Lase-CPT

The EFFI-Lase is for use with a C-Mount (M25.4) projection lens. This lens is not supplied with the projector. EFFILUX offers a wide range of lenses, for more information please refer to our page Lenses. Refer to the documentation to determine the size of the projected pattern according to the chosen lens.
In order to avoid any distortion effect, EFFILUX recommends using a 1" sensor lens for masks with rectangular patterns, such as point clouds, for other types of applications, lenses for sensor 2/3" may be sufficient. Example of the main references adapted to the EFFI-Lase V2 offered by Effilux:

Mounting:
EFFI-LASE-PSV: Four standard M5x0.8 holes can be used to fix the device. To fix the EFFI-Lase-PSV, the Ball joint type "Elcom" (EFFM-1-0009) is the most suitable.
EFFI-LASE-CPT: Five M4x0.8 holes can be used to fix the device. To fix the EFFI-Lase-CPT, the Ball joint type "Elcom" (EFFM-1-0002) is the most suitable.
There are two versions of the EFFI-Lase V2:
- EFFI-Lase-PSV: Version with passive dissipation - M12 - 5 pins: With integrated driver
- EFFI-Lase-CPT: Compact version - M8 - 8 pins: Without driver. Current is applied directly to the LEDs via an external controller.
The EFFI-Lase-PSV is directly supplied with 24V DC via an M12 - 5 pins.

Attention, unlike EFFI-Smart, the EFFI-Lase-PSV only has 2 modes of operation: Autostrobe PNP as well as Autostrobe NPN.
The AIC pin is used to adjust the high value of the Autostrobe.

N.B: For the strobe mode please respect a duty cycle (DC) lower than 0,30.
* The "AIC" value can be set via the signal on pin 5.
If it is not connected, the EFFI-Lase-PSV will work as if it were connected to 24V:
The compact version of the EFFI-Lase V2 allows:
- Very high power strobe possible
- Direct control via your own power supply
- Pulse Controller: EFFILUX offers you, thanks to EFFI-IPSC4 LED Controller, to be able to manage, according to your needs, the intensity and duration of the strobes of your EFFI-Lase-CPT.
The LEDs are supplied live, the maximum current defined in the documentation for a frequency and a given pulse time cannot be exceeded.
